On Tuesday, March 8, International Women’s Day, Paris Saint-Germain football club displayed portraits of its players on the gates of the Parc des Princes.
The PSG women’s team will also take part in the Champions League in the coming days. Didier Olle-Nicole’s players will face Bayern Munich on March 22 at the Allianz Arena (18:45) in the first quarter-final match of the tournament.
On this occasion, Paris Saint-Germain decided to honor the memory of their players. Eleven giant portraits stand at the gates of the Parc des Princes from the side of the Commendant Guillebaud.
“The presentation of the women’s team at the Parc Prince is part of the #March forEquality campaign organized by the Paris Saint-Germain Foundation. Throughout March, the Foundation raises awareness of gender equality through various programs such as Go Girls, Go Women, Red & Blue School or Solidarity Canteen.“Explains Paris Saint-Germain in its press release.
“On March 9, former and current players of the club will join an active day at the Parc des Princes in the presence of program beneficiaries, as well as a conference dedicated to the epic of the women’s team since its inception.“, – say in the club.
